Hello and welcome to my blog. I have been set a project to create, develop and maintain a website using html code. I decided that the website should be used to promote a classic car event taking place in a local village close to where I live. Since I was already involved in organising the event, I had all the details I needed, and several contacts should I need anymore material. It would also serve the prupose of advertising and promoting the event, whilst keeping the entrants informed with any dnews, as well as a regularly updated entry list.
The official title of the event was “Whitegate & Marton : Classic & Sports Car Jubilee Event“, but I decided that since the website would be advertised in context, the title could be a little shortier, making it easier to remember and type in, whilst still allowing someone to know what the website was about. After looking at several options, I decided to choose whitegateclassic.co.uk. This was nice and short and most importantly memorable. Go and have a look if you like!
